I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally joined a running club!
This is something that I have wanted to do for sometime, so I’m very happy! 🙂
My legs are aching after the 3 mile run I did on Tuesday, but I cannot wait until I feel better and can go out running again!
I’ve always been into exercising, I wanted to start running a while back when I lived over in Woolhampton, a small village close to Reading in Berkshire.
There was an awesome footpath next to the canal, that took you all the way to Aldermaston, the neighbouring village.
Nobody wanted to come and run with me the first year we lived there though, so I was happy when a year later my mother figured out she wanted to get into shape!
We started walking and would go for a fast 6 mile walk pretty much everyday and you could certainly notice a difference.
My legs became more toned and I was in better shape, so I was very happy about that. Still though I’m very excited to now be running, as this is what I really wanted to get into! Wo-ho! I hope I can do some races eventually \m/
