The other night I decided to check out an interview with White House Chief of Staff (ret.) Marine Gen. John F. Kelly, which was very interesting indeed, funny enough there was a link in the suggested area to a commentary video, which I decided to watch afterwards. To call it ridiculous would be an understatement as the creators of this content only really engaged in name calling and reached the conclusion, for example, that Trump being described as occasionally  “uninformed” on certain topics during his campaign before receiving access to intelligence/security briefings was the exact same thing as declaring the US President an idiot.

After watching this enlightening commentary, and partially watching another one, not to forget taking a look at the comment section, I was reminded of how lame it is with people who merely comment on other’s work rather than actually producing something themselves. How utterly boring, not to mention how easy it is, to have opinions about other’s whereabouts. Which of course made me think of my own blog; where I, like so many others in this digital age, share my own viewpoints. I think my main reason for doing so is that I personally feel like the political narrative is dominated by, what shall I say “forces,” who create a false skewed impression, which is precisely why it is shocking to see election results, for example, as these along with surveys can reveal how evenly split opinions actually are in some cases. I’ll just quote a certain somebody who once said: ” There is no such thing as public opinion. There is only published opinion.”

It is also difficult to let go of thoughts concerning the current state of affairs over here on our continent, especially when there are those who literally advocate for, as I’ve said before, the removal of “offensive statues,” and the blatant censorship of curriculum, because the material is “too white.” (Caving to anti-western propaganda does no good either, as these people are never satisfied and keep on pushing, pushing, pushing and pushing. When do you hear a simple thank you even from any of these advocates?)

Right now I’m reading Douglas Murray’s latest book ” The Strange Death of Europe” and it is difficult to do that without occasionally feeling nauseated as it feels like I’m reading not just my own death sentence, but everyone else’s too. :/

Today I checked out the latest video from Gad Saad, which is hilarious and very true indeed. I don’t know if I’ve written it, but I know that I’ve previously said that artists should stay neutral. If you feel like saying something it should shine through in your work. Yet that proves to be easier said than done, especially when it seems like everyone has an official opinion about everything, and you fundamentally disagree with a lot of it. These videos from Gad Saad are really good and absolutely worth a watch. It is also my impression that musicians/artists aren’t challenged enough by those around them, but then again I think that the blame cannot entirely be placed on the team. There are numerous stories out there of musicians and artists who don’t follow instructions and never really welcome feedback from anyone at all. There are artists who would literally fall into the category of unmanageable.

Anyway, I will agree with what Gad Saad is saying … yes, donations are more than welcome since Jay-Z apparently doesn’t need his money anymore……..I certainly volunteer to relieve him of his horrible burden, as I’m sure that I would manage to put it to good use, I’m sure that there are lots of other people out there who would be more than willing to help Jay-Z and his wife, since money is a useless commodity … according to him………well as I said above: Donations Welcome 😛
