Today it is Sunday and since I’m trying to be a good, civilised, Christian I should not think about work today, or do anything work related. Yet sometimes that can be easier said than done, especially if feeling somewhat inspired….
So today I sang! I love singing and can’t wait to share videos of myself doing the coloratura repertory! So far I’ve been posting “teasers” of myself working on virtuoso arias and with the exception of “Solveig’s Song” (featured on my #1 Amazon bestselling classical album), I haven’t shared much from my Bel Canto adventure. I’ve used my training to sing my own music, now I’m finally ready to show people the classical side 🙂 😀 😀 Whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop 😀 😀
So today I felt very excited and promoted myself on Instagram, and therefore ended up checking my profile over and over out of curiosity. Would I get likes fast? Would it go slower than usual? Would I get any buzz? Hmmm? Hmmmm?
Then I decided to go to my blog to look at my numbers … what do people really want to read about?
I started this project back in 2015 after fans were requesting a blog. I’m not quite sure what people thought I would be writing about, but it is interesting that my most popular blogging year was the one when I was mainly writing about myself, and myself, and yes; myself, myself, myself, and myself ❤
I was surprised to see that I could have an impact and not be hated by my followers and fans by going all politico in my 2nd year of blogging, I thought that this was kind of cool! I liked that I could have my say without making people upset. I will get back to that a bit further down in my entry….
Now I first want to write about my most popular entries after almost four years of blogging….
As it turns out, it is apparently really cool to write about oneself….
My number one entry of all time is this one: I have a tiny problem. A really silly entry where I got caught up in our dysfunctional pop-culture and decided to “come out of the closet” by self-diagnosing myself with OCD. Yes I know, really great! We all fall flat on our faces sometimes and in this age of ours where we live increasingly online it goes without saying that idiocy can seem ever more prevalent and be blown out of proportion. What can I say? Our world glorify obesity and mental health issues. Everything is normalised and if you act like an idiot or have any quirks, then there is probably a label out there that you can proudly embrace … A fun thing to note is that while mental health issues are popularised to such an extent that everyone now thinks that they have one, (whether they go out with it online or not) terrorism, high school shootings and anything bad is credited to mental health issues………
I’ve become convinced that people are being duped big time with all of this “coming out.” If you are gay; come out, let as many people as possible know. If you are physically unhealthy; celebrate it, do not try to change! Pose! Let the whole world see you in all your splendour! If you have an STD; then let the whole world know! Be proud! Feeling down? Come out with a depression! Do not think about how this can be used against you later! Not sure what you are or where you fit in? Then come out as “alien kin” or stand in solidarity with whatever group!
Quite frankly it sounds like all of this “coming out” sets us up for a massive purge. Want to kill all the gays? Go to the Pride parade or find them online! Want to find the alternative goth people? Go for online communities. I had never heard of a “social media” platform until I had my first “alternative” friend, (which I thought was very cool by the way, since I eventually found a group of people to hang out with who dressed like me and were into the same kind of music like me) she was using a social media platform for Goths. I had the impression that these type of things were of interest to “outsider groups” or people with un-trendy preferences in order to find like-minded people, never in a million years could I have imagined that everyone would plug themselves into some sort of online community. Myself included! I have to say that I thought that Vampire Freaks looked kind of cool when I started an artist page on there; but I quickly lost interest. I prefer real-life interactions actually.
When thinking about the openness that we are currently celebrating in our part of the world, I cannot help but feel that it is some sort of trap. If all of a sudden there is a culture change and/or another less tolerant group invades us, it would be easier I imagine to create lists over “undesirable elements.”
I also find it interesting that my entry above became so popular. It shows how interested people are in gossip and how “pop” it is with dysfunction, especially if it concerns a YouTuber and/or artist. It got plenty of shares as well Awkward to say the least, and evidence to me that there is something odd with our culture since I actually wrote this and put it out there. You are never immune to the influence of the time that you live in. All you can do is repent if guilty of something serious or consciously move away from movements that are unhealthy or dangerous.
My most popular entry two years in a row, and my 2nd most popular entry of all time, is this one: Skin Care. Red Flag Alert!
That is an interesting thing to note when you are not a beauty blogger and you’re not even actively promoting a skin care entry that was written out of curiosity. What can be found within our little bottles of wonder? Well it is obvious that there are plenty of women asking themselves the exact same thing all over the world and that people are conscious of what they put on their skin. Have people always been concerned with this or is it a new phenomenon due to increased focus on eco-friendly products, etc;? That would be interesting to know.
If I was to feed “the machine” and satisfy “the market” I would change my current interests and only write about various beauty products. That would certainly mark a massive change in blogging style but maybe it would turn my blog-hobby into a proper hit?
My 3rd most popular entry of all times is thankfully one about guitar playing. Thank God! I guess I would have been worried if none of my music industry related articles were in the Top 5….This entry has been set to private, since I’m planning on releasing it as part of a proper book. My tips were available for free for a very long time! If people are interested in guitar lessons they can get in touch via my website or my social media 😛 Or even better: go to my Patreon 😛
My fourth most popular entry of all time is another appearance related one. (Interesting that people are so interested in looks). In this one I was writing from the typical “empowered female” point of view where you tell your haters to sod off and that you have no interest in changing for anyone, or anything. I can’t even remember why I felt inclined to write such a thing? I’ve never suffered from any feelings of inferiority due to my appearance, in fact, I’ve been very laid-back ever since picking up a guitar.
When I was working on my classical album however I wanted to change the design of my uniforms and be more feminine, because I guess that’s what happens if you’ve been in a male-dominated industry for too long. I was always trying to play down my femininity when I was hanging around metal guys in order to not stand out too much. I only really looked great when I was performing. At one point or the other though you’ll get tired of looking androgynous. You will yearn for more skirts, hot pants and high-heels.
It feels more natural to dress up when you have lots of female friends, because you do not want to be the ugly one. If surrounded by teenage boys and intimidating beer drinking metal guys, you’ll probably feel like going more incognito.
This entry has also been set to private since I’ve included it in a book I want to publish. I find it funny that I made a point of how honest this entry was. Aren’t all of my entries honest?
My 5th most popular entry is about “hopeless musicians.” I created a list with 22 cases of questionable behaviour from weirdos in the rock’n’roll scene. I didn’t mention any names or give out any details, I just wanted to share with the world how difficult it can be to put a band together. I certainly laughed a lot when I wrote it. It was funny and instantly became very popular. I wasn’t trying to be rude, there are just an awful lot of strange scenarios that you’ll find yourself in if you are a solo-artist and you have to get a band. The entry has been set to private and will be published as part of a show-biz book.
So what happened when I decided to go full politico?
At first I was surprised that I could actually have some sort of impact. That there were people out there who agreed with me and that my opinions could actually reach others and maybe even affect their voting! Aha! Who would have thought? Fearing that maybe I would alienate fans I couldn’t believe my eyes when my EU entry became my 2nd most popular entry in 2016 and didn’t get me lynched (at least not yet)!
I’m guessing that it became so popular because it was pro-“the people,” pro-English and profoundly pro-European. I was criticising the sacrifice of health and nationalism on the altar of absolute corporate greed stating that we shouldn’t throw out what labour unions have been fighting for in our part of the world. Most people will be working class anyway, so that can explain the appeal! I was also very supportive of the NHS, a support that I’ve lost after experiencing being ill for a prolonged period of time….
Even though I’ve been a staunch defender of socialised health-care I ended up going private when I stood face to face with health problems myself. I therefore feel that it would be hypocritical of me to still promote something that is clearly not working in our part of the world. It saddens me actually. I wish it could work.
As far as my comments on excessive anti-National-interest corporatism is concerned, I don’t believe that corporations should be allowed to walk all over “the people” or entire Nation States. To me it sounds immoral, just like it sounds wrong that a Nation State shouldn’t be able to control its own food production.
I’m guessing that the EU model looks good on paper but can have catastrophic consequences if food storages are needed in a time of crisis and you as a Nation State have let harvesting opportunities go to waste, due to politically correct arrangements.
Think about all the people who died of hunger in The Soviet Union. We might eventually find ourselves in a similar situation due to extreme weather.
When looking at this entry now I’m guessing that some Americans could feel that the entry was somehow anti-American, but that is not the case. It doesn’t criticise the various population groups in America in any way. I was clearly concerned about corporate America plundering our Nations through a trade agreement with the EU that would have affected its member states without its member states having any say in the matter. I don’t think it is unreasonable to be concerned about such a thing.
As far as food production is concerned it is true that we are generally more paranoid when it comes to pesticides, etc; Is this wrong? I think not. I might be openly conservative but my prepping-project is based on organic, vegan, politically correct, vegetable growing. I’m not going to pretend that the environment doesn’t matter. Just like I can’t pretend that socialised health-care works.
If you want to read my political blog entries you can now read them in my 1st blog book: “Thoughts.”
My 4th most popular entry in 2016 was the one I wrote about “The Presidency” after Donald J. Trump’s unexpected victory. I was thrilled that someone finally spoke about bringing manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.A., I wrote about outsourcing and criticised treacherous extreme capitalism, where people only empower the East “leaving the West in a ruin” years ago. I wrote this when I was in my late-teens and couldn’t believe my eyes when a Presidential candidate was concerned with not only this, but also with Urban America.
I read President Donald J. Trump’s “contract with the American people,” and liked it very much, but could certainly see how he would end up being criticised and worked against. I was proven right to a certain degree; only that I based my predictions on his campaign promises and politics alone. That is obviously not what has happened since he’s been spied on and have been dragged into all sorts of scandals, all in the name of getting rid of an annoying political threat. I’ve been quite shocked to see how all sorts of media outlets have ganged up on the current U.S.President to tear him down and get rid of him. I predicted that he would end up being treated like the new George W. Bush. Trump has been in the receiving end of not just that, but a total witch hunt. It is quite something to witness. My “Presidency” entry proved popular, I’m guessing it was alright to people since I revealed that I had previously been a fan of Hillary Clinton … In addition I didn’t trash Barack Obama either, even though I was never a fan…. I kept things civil in other words.
My 2nd most popular entry in 2017 was my short review of the documentary “Empire of Dust.” It surprised me that it became so popular, and in the end I found it so disturbing that this article had a constant presence in my “most read” section, that I set the entry to private.
The movie was not very flattering for Africans, but certainly very much so for the Chinese who are moving into the African continent in full force.
I do not come from a place of prejudice or racism and was quite frankly shocked when I found myself exposed to street-level diversity in my teens, as it certainly clashes with the image that is sold to the masses. The truth is that street-level diversity is downright dangerous, something that is seemingly meticulously covered-up by the mainstream media in particular. This is a disturbing realisation as it endangers the public.
I feel incredibly lucky that I survived living in some of the areas that I’ve sadly been exposed to in the past.
Now that I’ve read through my entry again I think it is fairly obvious that I felt awkward about watching this film. It doesn’t look good at all. If you really don’t like black people you’ll probably feel like your instincts have been proven right somehow, but if you don’t come from a place of innate racial hatred, you’ll find this a sad watch.
Africans are about to get colonised once again, but not by the so-called evil “white man,” but by the Chinese.
One can certainly wonder when African tribes will stand up for themselves and take what is theirs. I’m not a fan of replacement migration and destabilization in Europe, but I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I support “probable future abuse of Africa” at the hands of China. The Chinese need resources and they need space. If Africans are to stand up for Africa, then they probably have very limited time. What makes the situation even more problematic is the fact that Africa is an extremely diverse continent with lots of different ethnicities that don’t really see eye to eye. An important thing to remember for those who think that all black people are the same, or who want to believe in racial solidarity…..
My favourable review of the communist publication “The Class Struggle ,” was my 8th most popular entry in 2017 which is very interesting when thinking about how many entries I actually wrote last year … A great number of them were actually about the Trump administration and about the Norwegian election, none of these entries made it into my top. 10. That being said there were lots of clicks on my “Home Page/Archives,” but that doesn’t tell me the views on specific articles. It just means that a certain number of people scroll around on my page, and this always represents the majority of views.
Some might scratch their heads wondering why on earth I would give a thumbs up to a radical newspaper such as this one, but the writing was good and a number of the articles showed a National concern rather than a globalist focus. I picked up the paper full of prejudice due to an article I saw about the reformation, where it was suggested that Islam would naturally go through something similar … as if though reformation movements just happen because of global innate human progress….when I started reading the paper from front to back though, I realised that there are a lot of good journalists and writers out there who work for the “reds.”
My 7th most popular entry was a joke post, where my brother and I dressed up like SJWs. I don’t think anyone understood the humour. We had fun at least….I tried my best to look like a proper left-wing journalist. I think I succeeded.
So far I don’t have a single new blog entry of what I’ve published this year in my Top.10 for 2018. Either I’ve been lousy with my Tweeting or Twitter has shadow banned me, maybe even both for all I know. Last year I was ill and had plenty of time on my hands to write, this year I’ve been very eager to get back to work. I have not written much about myself nor have I published entries about beauty and/or looks. My skin entry is still on number one, but there are a couple of interesting articles from last year that have climbed up in popularity all of a sudden…..
My 3rd most viewed entry so far this year is this one called: Diversity – Why It Is A Complex Issue. What is especially interesting to me is that it was down on the 75th spot last year and I have no idea why it has suddenly gone up. Is there growing interest concerning diversity in our part of the world? It would certainly be understandable, but still, talk about dramatic change.
My 4th most popular entry so far this year is this comical one called: The Degenerate West? It has gone up from the 13th spot last year.
My 7th most popular entry so far this year was my review of “Empire of Dust” before I decided to put it to private. If I had not it would probably have been up there in the Top. 5.
Unless I’m being trolled big time (by some bored tech guy or something 😛) I’m assuming that this growing interest in Western Degeneracy and sudden Demographic Change is organic. There was also a sudden interest in my articles about the increase in Acid Attacks in the UK at one point last year….
Judging from what I wrote in the beginning of this long entry it is obvious that existence is so utterly horrid that people yearn for nothing but distractions. I find it interesting to write about the world and review/analyse the content of books, but I don’t really think that this has a general appeal. In fact it might just make people depressed. When writing about anything political it is probably good to speak from a very populist place rather than posting a sour post like this: When People Can Not Process What They Are Reading., which got a total of nine views last year and is just one step removed from echoing French President Macron’s epic statement along the lines of “people just don’t understand me – I need an interpreter so that I can communicate with real people.”
I’ve also come to understand that my praise of “people mining” meaning: “looking for the best people with the highest brain-power and potential, searching for these characters wherever they may hide;” was slightly ill-informed. I take it back. The Western world has been thinking itself into a coma and this can be credited to the sort of high-performing individuals I alluded to in my “Jupiterian” entry. Maybe it is better to deal with people who don’t think themselves into absurdity but simply act on their gut-feeling and their instincts. It certainly seems like Western experts are thinking and writing themselves and everyone else into total oblivion. It will not be the debaters, writers and/or thinkers who save the West; inventors can find ways to salvage our MicroPlastic Issue and strategists can find a way to protect and defend Western civilisation from itself.
The “experts” will be too busy getting lost inside their own heads to save anything, and will continue to promote ideas that in theory make sense until you plot in the very annoying “human factor,” that for some strange reason always seem to ruin everything.
Would it be far-fetched to suggest that DNA tampering might not improve things either? Probably not; I’m willing to bet that robot-humans would act silly too. Such as writing entries this long. People apparently prefer short entries that get to some sort of point.
And people like positive characters too, just think about all of these positive public speakers (*cough*cough*who are totally not running scams* cough*cough*) who are promising people far and wide that they can change their lives for the better! All you have to do is to give these people your email address or follow them on social media and they’ll share their formula for success! All they post are smiley pictures, everything is cheerful and upbeat, there is no end!
Anyway – Berit-bot is logging out for tonight. This entry is now 3.820 words long. Maybe I will blog about normal-things from now on. How boring. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
