The Happy Saga!

Standard

The glorious saga of me charting and selling music is still going strong ๐Ÿ™‚ After weeks of charting on Amazon.com with my 2014 release “2 Guitars – The Classical Crossover Album” I’m back in the top 10 once again! As I’ve already said in previous blog posts it has been going in and out of the charts since its release in late 2014, being in the top 5 countless times, even hitting nr.1 ๐Ÿ™‚

It makes me VERY HAPPY to see how popular this idea is and I’m looking very much forward to releasing new material!

My manager and I were able to create a great buzz when I was doing Heavy Metal in the beginning of my career, we scratched our heads a bit since the music industry wasn’t really catching on to what we did, it didn’t really make much sense when you think about how much Metal bands normally struggle and how long it takes for these acts to break even when given the opportunity to release their material on a label! I successfully crossed over in late 2013 into classical music and have proven my worth continuously from my 1st single release to my full length album. I was dealing with a Major Label in 2016 working on something very exciting and classical related, but sadly became ill and lost over a year of my life to poor health. It therefore makes me extra happy to see that my release is still hanging in there for weeks at a time and that my latest video on YouTube passed 50k views yesterday!

It proves that we are doing something very right in an age where people complain about not selling records. Selling physical records was never an issue for me, or it hasn’t been to date. I feel very optimistic about the future when I see my numbers despite having a limited reach on my Facebook. That social media platform in particular used to be very important to me, and I think it is a great shame that you are being put in the position of “follower blackmail” as the social media giant keep on tightening its grip. It’s a shame for small, independent businesses and “free thinkers.”

It is good news however to see that my latest video could get good views so quickly without any mainstream media exposure; I’m grateful that Truth In Shredding gave me a mention and thank them for that, now I’m waiting to see if any of the big guys will actually catch on to this. The meme isn’t dying, at least not for now.

I’m looking forward to releasing new music! What I will release next will be original material, for the simple reason that I’ve been ill for a while and wanted to come back to music doing something that was a bit lighter, the second that I’m done with my 3rd album I will get back to classical!

Thanks again to those of you who pay for my work and keep an eye on what I’m doing! If you want to support my creative endeavours and hear new music as well, then please check out my Patreon ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks a million! โค

I’m also charting on Easy Listening!

A 30 min Guitar Lesson Video + More New Music!

Standard

Today I released a 30 min guitar lesson video for those who pay 10$ and up on my Patreon account! I also released my 2nd update for this month; so if you want to hear more music from my 3rd album then make sure that you sign up here:ย My Patreon!

Yesterday before I went to bed I saw that myย classical albumย had jumped up on the Amazon Bestseller chart after falling down. On the 22nd it was down on 44, yesterday it was up on 29, and now it had gone up to 27! That is really cool since albums usually don’t chart that long for independent artists! Earlier this year it was hanging in there for over 2 weeks on the chart, and without any new videos or anything! I clearly have to release more classical recordings! But first I’m going to put out a whole bunch of original material that I feel very strongly about! ๐Ÿ˜› Make sure that you check out my Rock’n’Roll music as well ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanks again to all these Americans who buy my music!!! The U.S.A. have always been my nr.1 country when it comes to fans, followers & buyers! โค Thanks a million & God Bless!!!!!

Public Feuds in Rock’n’Roll.

I came across this sad read about infamous feuds in Rock music today. Bizarre. Such a shame that people are so naturally conflict seeking.ย Music & Arguments.

New Album Out Now!

Standard

New blog entry? Yes I guess ๐Ÿ˜› My celebrations of my DIY keyboard operation was short lived I’m afraid. I honestly hate blogging on my phone as everything becomes tricky once you insert photos. I cannot scroll past my pics without getting stuck ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜คAnd the response is quite slow as well usually, when you type, in contrast to writing entries on an iMac or a Pad.

So what’s new over in the uk? Well I’m quite busy that’s for sure. If you guys have missed out I’m in the middle of releasing my first metal album, which is available today from all digital distributors btw. The first round of signed preordered copies were sent on the 15th, any orders after or on that date will be sent out this week. Any delayed orders from before that, my sincerest apologies, we moved again, etc. And I’m not the one who receives the orders via email anymore, they now go to my management. I always get a proof of postage when I personally send packages out, so everything old and new before the 15th was cleared out. Some people have already received their CDs, feel free to post pics and tag me whenever you receive yours ๐Ÿ™‚

I was quite happy to see that Classic Rock Magazine featured my latest music video as one of their “Tracks Of The Week”, check out and share the vid please \m/

It feels great to actually have a metal album out! Now the challenge is getting the word out and spreading “the gospel” ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜› In the middle of practising which is equally important.

Funny that, how musicians always speaks of practising, practising, practising, without mentioning the importance of promoting, promoting, promoting. You won’t sell any records if nobody knows about your release! And you won’t have all the time you need to practise and/or write if you don’t sell records!

On a different note, I was ironing my shirts yesterday! I had not ironed anything ย since I was a little girl ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
